What is CAGE?
CAGE has been established since early 2001 and has grown from a small number of likeminded construction companies in North Nottinghamshire wishing to support its industry and inspire young recruits into construction occupations. The membership now stands at over 50 companies, ranging from small local organisations through to some of the larger national companies with regional bases in the North of Nottinghamshire.
The Construction Action Group of Employers works with schools and colleges to inspire young recruits into the construction industry. The CAGE raises awareness about the need for future professionals and technicians, as well as craft and manual operatives, in the industry and makes a special effort to support school links.
